Who we are
We are a Marin-based League of women soccer players who value camaraderie, team spirit, sportingship, good soccer, and a love of the game.
Marin Women's Soccer League empowers and welcomes cisgender women, intersex women, transgender individuals, and non-binary individuals. All players from the greater Bay Area are welcome!

Meet our teams and divisions
Open division
The open division is open to all players 18 and over. The Open division plays during the regular season (April-August) in traditional 11-a-side 90 minute refereed games. Our current teams are Hat Tricks, Pandemonium, Crazy 8's, and Jammers.
Over 35 division
The open division is open to all players who will be 35 at the start of our regular season and over. The O35 division plays during the regular season (April-August) in traditional 11-a-side 90 minute refereed games. Our current teams are Fuego, A Team, Cheetahs, and Extreme.
Indoor division
The open division is open to all players 18 and older. Games are played 6 v 6 with all ages mixed at the indoor futsal pitch at SkySports Complex in San Rafael during the off-season (August-March). Our current teams are Pitch Perfect, Turbo Toes, Shinguardians, Missfits, Rapidfire, and Netbusters.
Seasonal information
Regular season play
April - August
During the regular season, our Open and Over 35 divisions play separately, with Open playing on either Monday or Thursday and Over 35 playing on either Tuesday or Wednesday. All games are at 6:30, and will be played on turf pitches throughout Marin. The games are full field 11-a-side, 90 minutes, and refereed. Slide tackling is not allowed. Early in the season, the games may be shortened slightly to accommodate the earlier sunset. There will be mandatory water breaks every half, and there will be unlimited subbing during stoppages in play with the referee's acknowledgement. Home teams wear white and away teams wear blue. Games are on rain or shine; however, cancellations may occur on days with excessive heat. Captains will communicate the change in game status if this happens.
Off season indoor play
August - April
During the off season, we play 6 v 6 on the futsal field at SkySports in San Rafael. All members play together in mixed teams. Weekly game days and times vary based on field availability. The games are 50 minutes with a very brief half time and are not refereed. There is no offside, and highballs are not permitted. Slide tackling is not allowed. Cleats and firm ground shoes are not permitted. Shin guards are not mandatory. Home teams wear white and away teams wear blue.
