Regular season play

April - August

During the regular season, our Open and Over 35 divisions play separately.

Open play either Monday or Thursday and Over 35 play either Tuesday or Wednesday.

All games start at 6:30, and will be played on turf pitches throughout Marin.

Games are full field, 11-a-side, 90 minutes, and refereed.

Slide tackling is not allowed. Early in the season, the games may be shortened slightly to accommodate the earlier sunset.

There will be mandatory water breaks (weather dependent) every half, and there will be unlimited subbing during stoppages in play with the referee's acknowledgement.

Home teams wear white and away teams wear blue.

Games are on rain or shine; however, cancellations may occur on days with excessive heat.

Captains will communicate the change in game status if this happens.

Off season indoor play

September - March

During the off season, we play 6 v 6 on the indoor futsal field at SkySports in San Rafael. All members play together in mixed teams.

Weekly game days and times vary based on field availability, but are generally held Tuesdays-Thursdays at either 7pm or 8pm. The games are 50 minutes with a very brief half time and are not refereed.

There is no offside, and highballs are not permitted. Slide tackling and headers are not allowed for player safety. Only keepers are allowed in the goal box. Cleats and firm ground shoes are not permitted. Shin guards are encouraged, but not mandatory.
